TUTORING AGREEMENT

  • Tutoring Agreement

  • FEES PAYABLE TO THE TUTOR

    Fees shall be calculated at a rate of $75 per session of tutoring. Sessions are 1 hour long, which includes approximately 50 minutes of tutoring and 10 minutes of additional time (i.e. time spent in “warm up” activities, reviewing progress, over viewing assignments, stretching breaks etc.) The decision on how to best use instructional time will be made by the tutor based on the student’s individual needs and abilities.

  • PAYMENT

    Payments shall be made in Cash, Money Order, Gardiner or Credit Card and are due in advance upon completion of a tutoring session. Payments may be made in advance for multiple sessions. *Returned checks will incur a $35 fee and will require that all current balances and fees are paid in full before tutoring resumes. Further, all subsequent payments must be made in cash after a returned check.

  • CANCELLATION OF INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS BY STUDENT

    The student may cancel tutoring session by giving at least a 24-hour notice to the tutor, in which case no tuition fees will be incurred. Lessons not attended by the student without giving a 24-hour notice to the Tutor shall be charged at the full rate.

  • CANCELLATION OF INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS BY TUTOR

    The tutor may cancel lessons by giving a 24-hour notice to the student, in which case no fees shall be incurred. Where a lesson was pre-paid, the tutor shall reschedule the appointment at a time agreeable to both parties. LATE ARRIVAL FEES are calculated according to the times stipulated in the schedule and no adjustment shall be made for time lost because of late arrival by the student. Any lost time because of the tutor’s late arrival shall be compensated by extending a lesson by mutual agreement and by such amount of time that was lost.

  • LATE ARRIVAL

  • MINORS

    Where the student is a legal minor, the Parent/Guardian shall enter into this tutoring contract on behalf of the student and shall accept and agree to all the terms and conditions contained herein on behalf of the student.

  • DISCLOSURE
